A couple in Glasgow recently wanted to add cupboard space in alcoves either side of their fireplace. They had papered the wall with a rather lovely wallpaper and wanted to add shelves without damaging the wallpaper. Over the space of a few days I added the cupboards and built a framework for the shelves so that they would span the gap without any fixings through the wallpaper.
